Annie maintains membership in the following professional organizations; the American Nurses Association (ANA), the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) and the Tri-State Breastfeeding Association. She has been a volunteer leader for over 25 years with La Leche League, a breastfeeding support group, a position that requires excellent interpersonal communication skills. Her compassion for the needs of each mother-baby dyad is evident in her gentle manner.
Annie has been married to her husband Tim for 39 years and they have four adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys organic gardening, volunteering for her local Girl Scout council, and singing in her church choir.
