First Home Visit

What to expect during your first home visit:

• Duration: about 2½ hours

• A comprehensive health history for both mother and baby

• A detailed physical examination for both mother and baby of the organ systems involved in breastfeeding

• A feeding observation, including weighing baby before and after feeding to determine breast milk intake

• A pumping tutorial if time allows

• A personalized care plan, both verbal and printed for your convenience

• A report of our encounter faxed to your health care provider(s)

• Unlimited phone follow up

• In-network bill submission

• A printed insurance superbill to submit to your out-of-network medical insurance company for reimbursement of my services
